I want to know, how do you feel about internet dating sites? Do you feel that people who use internet dating sites are desperate? Is it a good way to meet new people? Is it right for people to put their information out there on dating sites for everyone to see, especially if they are married or in a relationship? I would like to know your thoughts and comments on this.

Well in the first place, anyone who is married or in a relationship has no business being on a dating site. But for a single person it is fantastic and you can meet lots of nice people. You don’t give out addresses and pesonal info till you know who you are dealing with. No these people are not desperate. I am one of them. I don’t do bars and had no way to meet men. I was very cautious and met lots of nice people online. I am not desperate nor have I ever been. I could live alone If I had to, no problem but I met my husband online and am so thankful I did.
Ithink asking someone out on the internet is just like picking up someone on the street and asking for their number. As for the sites, it is kinda nice becasue it sorts out personality fits for you.
I feel that internet dating is a waste of time. I think that you shouldn’t get to know someone through talking on the internet. Go experience it first hand.
Too risky! Many are desperate, not to just meeting new friends but have very bad motives. In my country, many young girls fall victim to internet dating. They usually end up being molested or raped (many times the date would bring some friends to take turns too). How sickening!
Also, people who go into internet dating are mostly frauds. They would tell you that they’re beautiful like Angelina Jolie or handsome like Brad Pitt but in reality they look like the ogre couple, Princess Fiona and Shrek.
I don’t like them. Seems too desperate.
