Avoid restaurant dinner dates, hotels, vacation trips, etc.. Those things are all too expensive to be doing regularly as a 14 year old, and they tend to hold too many expectations for something to happen. Plus you’re not old enough to drive a car yet.
Try more natural dates like these…
-Watching rented movies
-Going to swing/salsa/ballroom dance classes
-Bike ride to the store across town to get a fun snack
-BBQ party
-Cards or board game
-Cooking together (be nice and let him make silly mistakes)
Activity dates are always great because they take your mind off of trying to make them interested in you, and you can just enjoy spending time together. It’s fun to try activities with a mission or problem you have to solve together, because then it feels like you’ve become closer by finding a solution as a team.
Ok.
Since you guys are 14 your best bet is to get to know each other by doing fun things together like movies, Baskin Robins, walks in parks or along the beach. (One of my fav dates was when I went on a bike ride with this girl Cristy. She rode in front and I loved looking at her cute butt and beautiful blonde hair blowing in the wind all the way down the road.)
Start off by saying you are curious to know WHAT made him want to ask you out.
Then ask him what he thinks would make the perfect girlfriend. What kind of personality? Chatty, quiet, romantic, party animal, etc? (be prepared for him asking you about perfect boyfriend)
Clothes (jeans, skirts, tops, etc) What does he think make girls look sexiest? About swimsuits does he think girls look better in one-piece or bikini? Does he like long hair or short?
What was the best date that he ever had?
What was the WORST date? That should be funny.
What does he think would make the perfect date? You could ask about his first kiss if you’re sure he’s kissed ppl before you. If not sure then skip that one so you wont embarass him.
School is a good topic — fav subjects, teachers, other kids.
Ask him who he thinks is the hottest girl in the school.
Of you can talk about movies and stuff too. guys like to talk about sports – - ask what he plays and what sports he watches.
Have a competition to see which of you can do the most push-ups or sit-ups. Have a thumbie war. (good excuse to hold hands) Tickling contest good too.
If you want to find out what kind of guy he is, talk about what you’d do if you won a million dollars. If your REALLY lucky, he’ll say that he would take you on a vacation or buy you something special.
== >> And when he is answering you get to know if HE is your kind of guy and how much you have in common.
Have fun,
Mat
PS. on my first date, I went skiing with a girl BUT I had no idea that SHE was MUCH better than me and I looked bad.
There wasn’t a second date.
Always have a chaperon, you are of the age where hormones are all over the chart.Respect yourself and make him respect you.At the age of 14 what can you do, go to the movies, arcades, libraries lol! school events.Talk about life,AIDS,smoking, teen pregnancy, peer pressure, sex, oral sex,its all a part of life and y’all will come up on these issues.Have a close and honest relationship with your parents too go to them and express whatever you may be feeling or thinking. You are to young to be trying to carry a grown up load,so don’t try live life, have fun doing it!
If you have an ice skating rink in your area that might be a fun memorable experiece.
A classic movies date.
You could bond at the mall.
Go to dinner at somehwere cheap.
Some good concerts or a sporting event.
You could play a sport together.
Do something you both enjoy together, youll both have fun together while creating memories.
its the guys job to figure out what to do..
but i sugest a movie.. no akward silences… its dark so u dont have to freak out about ur apperance.. and u might get a little somethingsomething:)
just make sure u pick a scary or funny one,
scary so u can bury ur face in his chest..
funny so u can look at each ther and laugh, breaking the ice, plus lots to talk about afterwards.
good luck!!
You guys can go to the movies, play basketball, do some hiking, roller blading. Try to do sporty stuff. You can also try like a school dance.
try going to a movie and dinner…… a classic!
