I have just started dating this guyI am 23 he is 30. We went on 2 dates and already i really like him. He appears to be a complete gentlemen, sweet, well educated and we both want to settle down and etc. We have not been sexually active..only kissing on the lips and holding hands. When it comes to dating is it alright to have sex? and if so after how many dates? and is it ok that me and him are dating exclusively?

I’ve been questioning myself all this time whether premarital sex is acceptable because it seems like it’s a ‘normal’ procedure nowadays. But I’m keeping my values so that’s why I’ve been very reserved and he seems to respect that. It’s easy to think if a guy is 30, he would want to settle down but heck, he doesn’t need to if he thinks he can already test you out and then debate if he can be with someone else. When you used the term “exclusively” are you refering that there are third parties that know of your relationship?
There is no guild line to when you should have sex while dating. I’m sure it’s fine to do so but only when you feel ready. Sounds like you guys are really getting into each other. That should signify that you can if you want.
