I am not looking to hook up(I just look out of boredom) and I see many genuinely attractive women on there(assuming it is them) and I would not think thwy would have any problem finding a guy. I even went a geek dating site and there were attractive women there. I know it may be naive to think this since I do not know there situation, however, it makes me wonder.

You said it. It doesn’t look like they’d have any trouble meeting someone. And that’s why they don’t. Most men assume someone else already scooped them up.
Another reason is the quality of men you meet in a random situation like a party or a bar is low. There could be one decent man out of 20 at the party. Where if you actively say, this is what I am looking for, you’re more likely to get just that.
Most people, especially women (I don’t know why), on dating sites aren’t there because they have trouble meeting people offline. They just want more options. When you can either go to a club and meet 5 guys worth talking to or go online and meet 50 without being harassed by the guys you don’t want to talk to, the better choice is obvious.
Could be that the kind of guy that bothers to put a profile up on something like Match.com is looking for more than just some hot nooky.
They might actually be looking for a woman to start a relationship with, or something.
Maybe women, even attractive ones, see this and post themselves up too for the same reason.
Or maybe its a scam like Teknodogg says?
I don’t think so. I used to meet some very good catches on the Internet when I looked around there.
I haven’t tried these sites, but I would think it’s to meet a nice guy. We get tired of jerks who don’t know what they want. I have a really pretty friend who tried one of those sites, but she craves attention and that usually runs guys off.

A lot of the women above know better than I but I think some women might just lack the real personality most honest men are looking for,I may be wrong and if so thumbs me down but its just my opinon.

it’s SPAM!!! not real profiles…the website put those up to make it seems more interesting … most are FAKE!
